Therapy for Change and Connection

Compassionate, evidence-based care for trauma, anxiety, identity, and relational patterns.

Psychotherapy for improving you Life

While I have highly developed skills in helping people who have experienced traumas, I am also an experienced therapist with skills in helping individuals and couples with a variety of concerns.

Maybe you're tired of old patterns, feeling stuck in your relationships, or noticing a deeper dissatisfaction you can’t quite name. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, coming to terms with a difficult childhood, or healing from trauma—something is asking for your attention. And you’re ready to face it.

  • Relationship and communication issues

  • Major life transitions

  • Anxiety

  • Grief and loss

  • Shame, perfectionism, and self-doubt

  • Difficult family dynamics

  • Feeling stuck or disconnected

I also work with couples who want to move out of reactive cycles and into a more grounded, secure connection.

You don’t need to be in crisis to begin. If something’s not working, we can start there.

Trauma-Informed Care

Healing is possible—even if it hasn’t felt that way before.
With over 30 years of clinical experience—including more than 18 years at the VA, where I worked in both a PTSD clinic and a substance abuse clinic—I bring a deep understanding of how trauma affects every part of a person’s life.

I am trained in Evidence Based Therapies for PTSD, including EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I am also highly skilled at helping people who are struggling with Complex PTSD.

Whether you're living with complex PTSD, recovering from early emotional neglect, or trying to move past the effects of trauma that still live in your body and relationships, therapy can help. I work with people to understand the protective strategies they’ve carried, make sense of what they’ve survived, and move toward healing that’s grounded, integrated, and real.

This isn’t about rehashing the past. It’s about reclaiming your life in the present—with compassion, steadiness, and support.
