While trauma is at the heart of my training and experience, I work with individuals and couples across a wide range of concerns. You don't have to have a PTSD diagnosis to belong here.

How I Work

I am trained in evidence-based treatments for PTSD, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

My primary orientation is a form of Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy — an approach that helps you recognize when you're working against your own best interest by avoiding difficult emotions, and then supports you in actually changing that pattern.

I'm also a devoted believer in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Somewhere along the way, you'll pick up skills in Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness — and you may find yourself wishing you'd learned them years ago.
